Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support and assist Senior Manager with projects across Gill Capital Group and its related entities and/or subsidiaries

• Travel to Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia and any other regions where the company is and/or will be operating from, minimally four times a year, minimally three days per trip

• Support and assist Senior Manager with IPS and NCG as and when required

• Support and assist Senior Manager regarding the BOH layout as and when required

• Produce complete CAD detailed drawings, 3D perspectives, shop drawings and presentation drawings

• Double check and review final drawing from HM and other concept shops

• Double check and review order list and store project list as per HM plan

• Inform and coordinate with HM regarding orders from stock management

• Liaise with HM graphic department regarding any artworks/illustrations for new shops

• Verify plans and actual site with contractor for discrepancy

• Inform CVM on the navigation ordered for the needed artwork

• Briefing of local graphic supplier regarding the LIT navigation and illustration requirements

• Re-arrange stockroom layout as per Management’s requirements

• Check and verify site marking

• Deal with construction related issues

• Plan and schedule the delivery of furniture/fittings etc

• Check the warehouse from time to time regarding missing/not delivered/balance orders

• Checking of articles delivered and received on site

• Routine checks on site progress

• Assist and guide contractor on the finishing/detailing/quality of works

• Remind and follow up with the other departments (IT/ Security/VM etc) regarding site progress and schedule of installation

• Update of site condition prior to handover

• Prepare snag list together with the Contractor/Management

• Check for extra items to be kept in stock management

• Update stock management one week after store opening

• Manage office, warehouse and retail shops properties, facilities, equipment, repair and maintenance including liaising with the building management and external vendors (cleaning, pest control, repair services, aircon, and other general maintenance)

• Oversee jobs and projects related to facilities and equipment maintenance from planning, installation to completion and use including obtaining the required permits and approvals in carrying out the activities

• Ensure compliance with building and fire safety requirements and regulations (including managing fire drills, inspection of fire extinguishers and first aid needs)

• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management
  

• Bachelor degree in Architecture / Interior Design and minimum 5 years of proven working experience as an Architect

• Extensive experience in designing retail shop concepts and facilities or similar establishment is a must

• Proficient in 3D perspective drawing is a must

• Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software (Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, 3D Studio VIZ or similar)

• Knowledge in building regulations & environmental health & safety requirements

• Knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards

• Strong organisational, administration, project management and planning skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently
