What the role is:You are responsible for shaping and advancing Singapore\'s defence technological interests with partner countries.What you will be working on:On this, you coordinate engagements and collaboration with partner countries in acquisition programmes, research and development, and emerging technologies. You also manage and execute in-country and overseas bilateral visits, meetings, and conferences. In addition, you manage collaborations with other Singapore government agencies such as NRF, A*STAR, as well as collaboration partners in the Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) and Research Institutes (RIs). Your challenges lie in staying abreast of geopolitical, security, and technological developments, and advising MINDEF leadership on implications and opportunities for defence technology collaboration.What we are looking for:You must have a tertiary qualification, preferably in Science, Engineering, Political Science, International Relations, History, or any related field. Experience in policy planning, defence acquisition and technology scanning would be an advantage, but not a pre-requisite. Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.
