Mode: Full time and Dispatch - Contract position

:

We are looking for 2+ years experienced End User Computing & Smart Hands Support Engineer to deliver comprehensive IT support services, including break/fix tasks, IMACD (Install, Move, Add, Change, Delete) activities, and Smart Hands support for server and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

End User Compute - Break/Fix Support:

Troubleshoot and repair end-user hardware, including desktops, laptops, network and standalone printers, label printers, scanners, docking stations, video conferencing equipment, external monitors, and mobile devices (Android/iOS/Windows Mobile).

Provide support for consumables and accessories for EUC devices.

IMACD - End User Compute:

Perform physical installation and setup of end-user computing devices such as desktops, laptops, and peripherals including network connectivity checks. Conduct device imaging or re-imaging as per provided procedures and using provided media (e.g., USB). Install or upgrade internal components such as memory or hard drives, including necessary software drivers. Install network printers and perform remote driver installations on user machines. Deliver and connect replacement IPT phones, and remove old devices (IPT sites only). Handle requests for relocation of desktops and peripherals within campus or to other regional sites, ensuring full functionality post-move. Execute hardware removal and return tasks, including disconnection, packaging, and transfer to designated storage locations. Assist with server decommissioning, including network disconnection and removal. Clean returned equipment and update asset status in the service management tool (disposed/returned).
Smart Hands - Server & Network Support:

Provide hands-on support for server and network equipment including: Servers (Wintel, UNIX, Linux, HP-UX) Storage units, tape storage devices, and server appliances Network infrastructure such as switches, routers, modems, Wi-Fi controllers, access points SAN fabric switches, PDU (Power Distribution Units), Ethernet and SAN cables KVM switches and related components Full unit replacements and internal upgrades (hard disks, memory modules, motherboards, etc.)
Required Skills:

Strong understanding of end-user hardware and peripherals Experience with hardware imaging and software driver installation Familiarity with server and network equipment handling Ability to manage physical equipment movements, installations, and asset tracking Good communication and coordination skills Willingness to perform hands-on tasks at the desk side or in data center environments
