Job Description

Julian Grey\'s client is a Singapore based solution provider for high quality IT security products to value add to their MNC clients & channel partners and has been in the market for 25 years. With a team of more than 200 highly experienced professionals, the company is looking for individuals who are passionate about the IT security industry to join their rapidly expanding team.

Location: Tampines (Shuttle bus provided to and from Tampines MRT)
Working hours: 8.30am - 6pm (Mon - Thu), 8.30am - 5.30pm (Fri)

Responsibilities:

• Create functional software applications that align with customer operational goals.
• Enhance software quality by implementing XP practices, including code reviews and unit testing.
• Follow the principles outlined in the Software Craftsmanship Manifesto.
• Produce architectural and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to refine user stories.
• Support Quality Assurance by aiding in test automation and resolving bugs.
• Assist the DevOps team in automating build and release processes.

Requirements:

• Hold a relevant degree or equivalent with at least 7 years of experience.
• Proficiency in C#, Java, Angular, or Python.
• Strong knowledge in:

• Databases (MSSQL, Oracle, MongoDB).
• Windows/Shell scripting.
• Message queuing (e.g., RabbitMQ).
• Event streaming (e.g., Kafka).
• Unstructured/NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Beneficial software architecture design experience.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Gitlab, Docker, Jenkins).
• Knowledge of Big Data/Data Analytics (e.g., Hadoop).
• Understanding of Agile Methodology, particularly Scrum practices.
