About Red Airship

Red Airship is a growing Singapore-based company focusing on designing and developing custom software for SMEs and MNCs in finance, banking, e-commerce, business, social, and the arts. We specialize in Android, iOS, and Web applications using modern cloud architecture, cutting edge technology and lovingly crafted UI UX.

We started as a humble Mobile and Drupal specialist in 2013 to help our clients build great products. Requirements

Specific Responsibilities:

Interns to be involved in: * Pairing with the team lead/ other developers on web/ mobile projects with MNCs and SMEs in Singapore

• Writing technical design documents to strengthen your system architecture design thinking.
• Writing automated tests and performing manual testing.
• Code review sessions.
• Participate and run Code Katas.
• Work closely with designers and business users.
• Team meetings and activities

Technical Skills and Competencies Intern will learn during the Internship: * Swift, reactive programming, iOS frameworks, Typescript, ReactJs, Redux, Jest, Cordova, Node, Git, Npm, Gitlab, Invision, Zeplin, Slack, Jira, PhpStorm. As the team works with a wide range of technologies, the specific language you pick up would depend on your interest and who you will be pairing with.

• Software engineering fundamentals, Agile and Test-driven development.
• How to engage business users professionally
• Domain knowledge in the finance industry

Internship Period

For a meaningful internship, we find the ideal duration to be at least/ more than 5 months.

Note: You will need a working laptop or desktop running Windows or Mac OS that allows you to install relevant software to work on client projects. On a case-by-case basis, a laptop may be provided for you.
