Job Description

What the role is:
The role is with the Additive Manufacturing Innovation Centre (AMIC) which is a Centre of Excellence for Additive Manufacturing Technology & Design Innovations set-up jointly by EDB and NYP and located at Nanyang Polytechnic. The strategic intents of AMIC is to support the national AM initiatives to drive greater industry AM adoption and develop core capabilities in Design for AM optimization & process innovation, besides supporting the needs of NYP's PET and CET programmes. It also provides co-creation, collaboration and project incubation services for industry and conducts regular sharing sessions, clinics, etc.
What you will be working on:
xc2xb7 Contribute to AMIC's strategic planning towards achieving the KPIs.
. Support AMIC and work towards meeting the key performance indicators & deliverables and project milestones.
xc2xb7 Implement and follows through new innovation projects engagement with industry.
xc2xb7 Execute project to ensure timelines, budget and deliverables are adhered to.
xc2xb7 Contribute actively in professional developmental activities such as industrial engagement and collaboration projects.
xc2xb7 Support resource planning and schedules to ensure successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and timely completion of projects.
xc2xb7 Support industry AM adoption, capabilities development, growth, technical disclosure, licensing and industry proof of concept projects.
xc2xb7 Leverage on past industry experience and exposure to provide new industry leads for engagement.
xc2xb7 Organise and run competitions, workshop and training to meet industry outreach and training deliverables.
What we are looking for:

• Working experience minimum 2 years in Additive Manufacturing/3D Printing, Design for Additive Manufacturing

• Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related disciplines
• Highly motivated, result-oriented, independent team player
• Able to learn on the job, work independently, multi-task and perform under pressure
