Roles & Responsibilities:

The candidate will:

• Experience on translating project requirement to system architecture and task required to deliver
• Setup development environment locally in Thales premises where implementation of the project requirement. Capable of defining resource required to successfully roll up such setup
• Design and construct continuous integration and continuous deployment system in development environment that will allow rapid system development, testing based on industry standard rules.
• Involve in production environment setup in customer data center that will be used on acceptance phase and also production. He or she must be able to capture the knowledge on development environment, write automate produce, technical documentation to allow smooth deployment on production.
• Work with support team to enable them provide efficient support after deployment, by performing knowledge transfer and also support issue when reported from production environment.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• System Administration basic skillset (services, ssh, user management, ...)
• DevOps tooling advanced skillset :

• Extensive working experience with Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes and Helm
• Using and administrating GitLab CI/CD
• Developing and maintaining Ansible Playbooks and Modules
• Deploying and setup of CI/CD pipelines
• Scripting experience in Shell (bash or Python) etc
• Infrastructure as code skillset :

• Automate deployment and configuration using Ansible
• Working knowledge VMware ESX and other virtualization technologies
• Network basics :

• Good working experience with NGINX and HA proxy deployment and configuration
• Familiar with commonly used network commands (e.g. curl, telnet, netstat)
• LAN architecture (CIDR, vLAN, routing, NAT)
• DNS and SSL (internal, external)
• Security :

• Secrets management using various vaults (Gitlab security vaults, Kubernetes secrets)
• SSH administration

Good-to-have Skills:

• System Administration advanced skillset (IPtables, scripting, advanced kernel tuning, ...)
• Build for the Run:

• Knowledge on Apache Nifi, Kafka, KafkaConnector, JMS Connector,
• Deploy and administrate monitoring and alerting tooling
• Deploy and administrate a log concentration tool (ELK and FluentBit)
• Create custom dashboard on Kibana
• Other useful skills:

• Database administration basics (ex : MySQL dump, clustering models, deployment architecture)
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for project execution and documentation
• Development skill with one of the following language: Java, Go
