About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and skilled DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure and cloud operations team. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure on AWS, supporting CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring efficient deployment, scalability, and reliability of applications running on Docker and Kubernetes platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Manage and optimize containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
Implement and maintain highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
Develop and enforce IaC using Terraform / CloudFormation / AWS CDK.
Assist development teams in containerization best practices and deployment strategies.
Monitor system performance, reliability, and cost optimization across cloud environments.
Implement logging, alerting, and observability using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
Ensure security best practices across cloud services, networking, IAM, and deployment pipelines.
Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues across production and staging environments.
Participate in on-call rotation (if required) and contribute to incident response and root cause analysis.
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
3-8 years of DevOps, Cloud Engineer, or SRE experience.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch).
Proficient in Docker, containerization workflows, and Kubernetes operations.
Experience with CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, etc.
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, routing, security groups).
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred).
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stacks).
Good to Have
Experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd).
Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Experience with secrets management (HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).
Exposure to GitOps tooling (ArgoCD, FluxCD).
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect.
