We are looking for DevOps engineers who will be responsible for enhancing our current services and application architectures critical to support our solutions. This role requires an extensive knowledge of security concepts and cloud technologies to develop high-performing, highavailability, scalable and efficient application patterns for the cloud. You should be someone that brings new thinking and is excited about the challenge of driving change and new technologies while championing industry best practices and loud architecture strategies. The ideal candidate should be a keen problem solver and a self starter and will work closely with the Technical Leads from the Product and Engineering Team. You will help direct project teams toward a seamless CI/CD process that satisfies the business needs and align with security and compliance requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Architect, create, maintain, and iterate on our CI/CD processes for new and existing services.
  • Define new best practices and DevOps standards as required.
  • Develop and maintain solutions for day-to-day operational administration, system/data backup, disaster recovery, and security/performance monitoring.
  • Support and work alongside a cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologies
  • Help increase system performance with a focus on high availability and scalability.
  • Require periodic after-hours/weekend support.
  • Troubleshooting, performs root cause analysis, and working closely with developers to implement corrective/preventive actions during and after an incident
  • Guiding team members on how to automate application and infrastructure deployment.
  • Serve as a mentor for a team of engineers with a primary focus on automation.
  • Drive systems engineering design and recovery by eliminating manual involvement and leading continuous improvements that create an operating environment that includes dynamically monitoring, alerting, and automated self-healing and recovery
  • Utilize agile practices to ensure consistent and transparent execution.
  • Provide mentoring and knowledge transfer to others, and promote open culture and DevOps.
  • Manage and maintain the DevOps pipeline, and work with dev teams on a combined pipeline.
  • Manage technology evaluations and implementations to fill gaps in the Technology Architecture for software build, testing, deployment and scalability.
  • Monitor standards/policy compliance by developing and executing governance processes and tools.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer.
  • Extensive experience working within AWS and with its managed products like EC2, ECS, ECR, R53, SES, Elasticache, RDS, EKS, DocumentDB.
  • Experience creating Docker images and orchestrating container deployments using Kubernetes.
  • Working knowledge of Linux OS and setting up monitoring/logging/tracing systems.
  • Experience working with automation tooling such as Ansible/Jenkins.
  • Experience with setting up monitoring tools like Prometheus / Grafana / Pagerduty / CloudWatch.
  • Familiar with Redis, MongoDB, Kafka, Zookeeper, MQ, and other configuration tuning.
  • Experience in Docker, Docker compose, Docker registries, Api gateway.
  • Experience with modern agile software delivery practices such as scrum, version control, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), DevOps.
  • Experience in Resiliency patterns (Scalability, Pave/Repave), Self-healing, Chaos Engineering, Performance Monitoring, Continuous performance improvements.
  • Experience with monitoring and log aggregating and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, using Terraform / CloudFormation / Ansible or other tools.
  • Knowledge on Quality Tools and Management tools like Sonar and Jira.
  • Scripts (batch or shell) to perform automation on deployment.
BONUS
  • AWS Associate/Professional certification will be an advantage.
  • Experience with or an understanding of data/event streaming technologies such as Kafka is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in application monitoring with Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, AppDynamics or Dynatrace is a plus.
  • Experience of automating tasks and writing tools in scripting languages (Python, Bash)
  • Hands-on experience of microservices is desirable.
  • Experience in programming in one or more of the following languages: Python, Node.js, Java.
