Job Description

Your Role:

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to develop and maintain cloud-based infrastructure, automating deployment processes, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of the systems. You will be working closely with our development and operations teams to streamline our delivery pipeline and improve our overall system performance.

What Will You Do:

• To configure and maintain the CICD pipelines incorporating streamlined change and release management process
• To maintain tools for configuration management, build, continuous integration, and deployment, reporting, monitoring etc.
• To implement and operate monitoring and alerting tools
• To implement scripts to automate server, CICD etc
• To participate and implement capacity planning and risk management
• To explore and adopt new and creative DevOps approaches
• To implement security practices that comply with standards to protect the organization\'s data & infrastructure.
• To develop automation and processes to enable teams to deploy, manage scale and monitor their applications in cloud or data centres.
• To deploy and manage monitoring tools of infrastructure performance, utilization and health.
• To implement configuration management system for business continuity management and automate disaster recovery measures.
• To manage cloud resources (AWS and Azure) in supporting application needs

What Do You Need:

• At least 3+ years of relevant DevOps experience or;
• At least 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure deployment and automation or;
• At least 5 years working experience in an agile environment as a full stacked developer or technical lead
• Must have hands-on experience working on AWS
• Must have hands-on experience with containerization using Docker, and Kubernetes
• Must have hands-on experience with configuration management systems such as Terraform, Packer and Ansible
• Must have hands-on experience with production deployments like Kubernetes and automating provisioning with IaC best practices.
• Must have hands-on experience in Linux server administration, and shell scripting with Bash and Python etc
• Knowledge in System architecture is a plus
• Must have knowledge with tools such as Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana, ELK, Docker, EKS, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Packer, Helm, Networking, Linux, Gitlab
• Must have experience with highly scalable distributed systems
• Knowledgeable in OS, networking, distributed computing, cloud computing
• Good understanding and working knowledge of Agile projects such as SCRUM and KANBAN
• Familiar with IAC security and opensource tools in relevant domains.
