Job Description

We are a fast-growing EdTech startup looking for a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our platform. You will work closely with our development team to automate our deployment processes and continuously improve our software delivery pipeline. Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Chef

• Manage and monitor our production systems and applications

• Work with development teams to ensure reliable and scalable application deployment

• Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines to enable faster and more frequent releases

• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities

• Continuously identify areas of improvement and implement solutions to optimize our DevOps processes

• Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement security and compliance best practices

• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for production systems
  

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or related field

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related field

• Strong and extensive knowledge and experience in AWS

• Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef)

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI)

• Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing)

• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash)

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Passion for automation and continuous improvement
  

• AWS/Azure/GCP certification(s)

• Experience with microservices architecture

• Understanding of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK stack, Grafana)

• Familiarity with database technologies (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for compliance (Terraform Compliance)

• Experience with network automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Nornir)

• Interest in education and technology
