Assists Dietitians in the nutritional management of patients referred to the Nutrition and Dietetic Department by gathering patient information for nutritional assessment, communicating accurate basic food and nutrition information and review less complex patient in inpatient setting.
Participate in nutritional community activities and assist in maintaining inventory of resources.
May be rotated to food service to assist dietitians in the supervision of daily patient meal production and service in the hospital to ensure correct and quality meals are served in accordance to the nutrition guidelines for patient safety
Job Requirements
Diploma in Food Science and Nutrition or other related Nutrition and Food Science degree
Relevant working experience the food & beverage or service industry preferred.
