Job Description


The Digital FX Solutions sales professional is responsible for leading our digital solutioning narrative for key markets in the Asia-Pacific region, covering Citi\'s corporate clients, including local corporations, small-to-mid-cap firms, public sector and multinationals. The candidate must be adept at addressing client priorities through a technology lens, leveraging Citi\'s broad suite of digital FX and payments solutions. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to engage different client profiles and buying centers, across various client themes including business transformation and digitalization, risk management, treasury management, new business models, partnerships and product innovation. The candidate is also a recognized subject matter expert within one or more of these areas. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity and excellent communication skills are required in order to negotiate internally and externally, often at a senior level. The candidate will be expected to work on complex scenarios, often thinking creatively to develop bespoke technology solutions to address these.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct revenue responsibility for key markets in Asia-Pacific
  • Develop a coordinated (local, regional and/or global) strategy across specific origination and market themes
  • Achieve ambitious goals in both market and wallet share from the identified client franchise
  • Originate and execute meaningful and marquee transactions
  • Be the voice of clients and coverage markets, and drive the product development narrative
  • Partner closely with other key businesses and functions to ensure proper product deployment based on strong client knowledge
  • Digital thought leadership
  • Take a lead role in fostering an environment of collaboration through interfacing with appropriate internal partners to enhance share of mind with clients, increase dialogue and to deliver on expertise
  • Understand and analyze clients\' businesses and exposures to provide best suited sales solutions in full coordination with all relevant business partners
  • Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics
  • Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm\'s reputation.
  • Be familiar with and adhere to Citi\'s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm\'s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of experience
  • Previous experience in technology sales and solutioning
  • Proven track record on growing and maintaining relationships through commercial skills
  • An entrepreneurial approach for business origination and developing new relationships
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills
Education:
  • Bachelor\'s/University degree, Master\'s degree preferred
