Role Overview
The Digital Marketing Intern will support the company's social media growth by producing short form video content, managing TikTok operations, and executing day to day digital engagement activities. The intern will be directly involved in content ideation, filming, editing, publishing, and performance tracking to strengthen brand visibility and audience reach across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
TikTok Channel Management

• Assist in planning weekly and monthly TikTok content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns and brand themes

• Manage day to day posting, captions, hashtags, and scheduling of videos

• Monitor comments and messages and support timely engagement with followers

• Track trends, viral formats, and competitor activities to recommend fresh content ideas

• Ensure consistent brand voice and visual style across all posts

Content Creation & Production

• Conceptualise short form video ideas including educational, behind the scenes, product showcase, and lifestyle content

• Support filming of videos using mobile devices or basic camera equipment

• Edit videos using tools such as CapCut, Canva, or similar editing software

• Create simple graphics, thumbnails, and captions to enhance content quality

• Repurpose content across Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms

Digital Marketing Support

• Assist in basic copywriting for posts, captions, and campaign messages

• Support simple paid ad boosting and campaign setup where required

• Conduct online research on customer trends, audience preferences, and competitor strategies

• Help prepare marketing materials and visuals for promotions or launches

Performance Tracking & Reporting

• Monitor content performance metrics such as views, engagement, reach, and follower growth

• Compile weekly performance summaries and insights

• Identify what content performs well and propose improvements

• Support A B testing of formats, hooks, and posting times

Learning & Development

• Participate in internal training on branding, storytelling, and digital marketing fundamentals

• Develop hands on experience in social media strategy and content optimisation

• Receive mentorship from the marketing lead and progressively take ownership of projects
