The Role
The Marketing Manager plays a key leadership role in driving the strategic planning and execution of integrated marketing and public relations strategies to increase market share, strengthen brand equity, and enhance visibility across all channels. This person will oversee both digital and traditional marketing initiatives, lead media engagement, and ensure consistent brand storytelling that resonates with target audiences.

  • Lead the development and execution of annual marketing and public relations plans to drive awareness, revenue, and engagement across all customer segments.
  • Oversee the creation of hotel collaterals, creative artworks, and copy for various business areas including F&B, rooms, weddings, events, and partnerships, ensuring alignment with hotel and brand positioning.
  • Develop and implement the hotel's advertising and communications strategy, integrating earned, owned, and paid channels for maximum reach.
  • Manage all public relations efforts, including writing and distributing press releases, handling media queries, crafting key messages and FAQs, and coordinating interviews or statements.
  • Host and manage media visits, ensuring each experience reflects the brand's positioning and results in quality coverage.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and media partners to secure high-value exposure and collaborations.
  • Act as the primary brand custodian, ensuring all internal and external communications adhere to brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Manage and coordinate video and photo shoots, ensuring the hotel's multimedia library remains current and relevant.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external agencies to conceptualise and deliver marketing activities, including events, promotions, and partnerships.
  • Conduct competitor and market research, applying insights to shape communication strategies and campaign direction.
  • Prepare comprehensive marketing communications and PR reports, tracking campaign performance and coverage outcomes.
  • Lead the execution of digital marketing campaigns, optimising reach and engagement across all digital channels.
  • Oversee content creation and maintenance across all digital platforms, including the hotel's website and third-party listings.
  • Lead the creation of engaging, brand-aligned content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, supported by a robust content calendar.
  • Oversee online reputation and media sentiment management, ensuring timely, appropriate, and brand-aligned responses across platforms.
Talent Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in marketing and public relations, preferably in the hospitality, F&B, or luxury sector.
  • Proven track record of leading marketing campaigns and media relations efforts that drive measurable results.
  • Experience managing creative agencies, vendors, and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder and media engagement.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative problem-solver with analytical skills to assess campaign effectiveness.
  • High attention to detail and ability to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
