The Digital Workplace Support Engineer is responsible for providing first-line IT support for incidents and requests to internal Abcam customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Respond to and resolve IT tickets using the Service Now system.
• Install and configure end-user laptops.
• Perform new starter/mover/leaver processes for user accounts.
• Handle software and equipment requests.
• Manage user accounts and MFA keys
• Maintain PC hardware and software in an operable and secure state.
• Keep IT inventory records up-to-date.
• Perform office/desk reconfiguration as required.
• Provide infrastructure support as needed.
• Provide weekly reports to the manager on ongoing issues in English.
• Write knowledgebase articles and SOPs as required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of prior desktop support experience.
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on experience with Windows OS.
• Experience supporting Office365 suite applications.
• Preferred experience with Autopilot/Intune/MDM and TCP/IP networking knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Business-level English language skills.
• Customer-focused attitude.
