Job Description

To assist all cooks to provide consistent quality of food and services to internal and external customers, by adhering to all Marriott Standards and Policies and Singapore Marriott Hotel standards of excellence.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Work close together with Dim Sum Chef.

• Be on time to report to work.
• Help at all times to prepare all food according to recipe cards and follow the standard of food to reach a standard of excellence.
• Instruction has to be followed at all times.
• To work in a safe manner at all times, to eliminate accidents.
• To enforce our policy, xe2x80x9cClean As you goxe2x80x9d.
• Daily cleaning of kitchen equipment in work area.
• Daily check and cleaning of walking fridge.
• Daily covering, rotating and dating of all food items.
• Co-operation and team work at all times.
• Perform all other reasonable tasks as requested by Management.
• Will sign acceptance of tools - uniforms and knives etc. and will pay back to the company any money for loss or damage of said tools.
• If any employee is sick, he will immediately contact his immediate supervisor or Executive Chef and will collect a sick note before returning to work.
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/ NiTEC, culinary certificate, or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in the same capacity
• Able to cope in a face paced environment
• Good team player and team builder
