General Responsibilities A. To prepare all assigned mise en place such as, but not limited to, stocking of all napkins, silverware, glassware, and serving wares to ensure there are sufficient supplies before each service B. To complete other duties such as, but not limited to, polishing silverware, restaurant set-up, filling of condiments and to ensure all the necessary wares are properly cleaned C. To ensure tables are arranged in accordance and with accuracy, to the established layout D. To promptly wipe down tables after guests\' use,in accordance to proper sanitation standards E. To adhere strictly to all standard operating procedures F. To report all guest concerns and negativefeedback to the direct superior G. To place a priority on teamwork by always looking to assist other team members H. To report to the direct superior before and after each service for a briefing Dining Room Responsibilities A. To smile and greet all guests, to build rapport by initiating conversation when it is convenient and appropriate B. To direct guests to their assigned tables C. To seek instruction from thedirect superior on assigning vacant tables to walk-in guests D. To arrange tables and chairs according to thedirect superior\'s instructions E. To present menus and to inform guests of any relevant information that was conveyed during the service briefing F. To understand all menu items, to ensure that the correct recommendations are made G. To perform water service at all times H. To take guests\' orders and to key them into the POS system I. To relay all special instructions by the guests to the direct superior J. To set the right cutleries according to the type of dishes ordered by the guests K. To deliver professional, courteous, and efficient service to the guests L. To always stand at attention and attend immediately to any guests who is calling for service M. To anticipate the guests\' needs N. To prepare and present payment bills O. To serve and also clear food and beverage items from the guest tables in an unobtrusive and professional manner Cleanliness and Safety A. To ensure a clean, neat and organised work area B. To maintain health and safety standards at all dining room areas C. To ensure that all SFA and food safety regulations are strictly followed Skill Sets A. To demonstrate an enthusiastic and positive attitude B. To always lead by example and communicate effectively C. To be diligent and able to work in a fast paced dining room environment D. To be able to multi-task, working on several tables at the same time E. To be able to reach, bend, stoop, and to work in a standing position for long periods of time F. To be able to multi-task, working on several tables at the same time G. To possess the necessary level of literacy and numeracy H. To be able to formulate, oversee, all required reports in productivity software such as Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft Office Powerpoint, Microsoft Office Excel and their equivalents I. To be accurate and quick when completing work tasks J. Flexible hours for part time post, minimum 6 hours a day, 3 days per week Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 35 per week Salary: $2,000.00 - $3,000.00 per month Benefits:
