What the role is:The Home Team Science and Technology Agency (HTX) is a statutory board under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) which aims to pioneer innovation solutions and develop world class science and technology capabilities to transform and empower the Home Team in delivering safety and security for Singapore. The HTxAI Products team is committed to empower our Home Team Department (HTD)'s flagship projects through the seamless integration of AI technologies. From identifying opportunities to delivery, launch, and continuous enhancement, HTxAI aims to push boundaries and setting new standards in homeland security.What you will be working on:As the Director of AI Products, you will play a pivotal role to strategically oversee and manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of AI-related platforms, products, and solutions within the organisation. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, evaluating emerging technologies, and ensuring quality delivery. As Director of HTxAI, you will be expected to : Provide strategic technical leadership, assessing plans, and overseeing the development of a cutting-edge technical roadmap for HTX across AI domains of Adversarial AI, Vision AI, Embodied AI, Language AI, Multi-modal AI, and Emerging AI, Platform Engineering and Software Development. Strategize and articulate a visionary technical strategy for HTxAI Products, aligning with organisational objectives and market dynamics. Own the development of a robust technical roadmap, incorporating cutting-edge AI advancements, industry trends, and organizational imperatives. Offer mentorship to nurture team collaboration, innovate AI solutions aligning with user needs, and foster vital partnerships with external entities. Develop a Product Development culture across COEs and Home Team Department (HTD)s Promulgate the adoption of HTX's product management framework based on industry best practices customised to Home Team requirements. Lead team in conducting comprehensive market analysis and user research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities. Develop strategic product roadmaps that prioritize high-impact initiatives, align with organisational goals, and drive market differentiation. Promote excellence, inclusion, and continuous learning, offering personalised coaching, empowering career growth, and fostering open communication and collaboration for innovation and success. Forge strategic relationships with stakeholders, explore collaborative opportunities, and develop partnerships amplifying HTX's global impact, scale, and influence.What we are looking for:

• Min Degree/ Masters degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related disciplines Min 15 years\' experience in technology development, of which min 8 years\' experience in delivering large scale projects with multi-sites deployment and proven track records Min 5 years\' experience managing in the capacity of a CIO/ CTO or equivalent of an MNC or Govt agency. Knowledge in multi-tier architectures for AI/ML, Data Science and Data Analytics platforms. Strong leadership and supervisory track records Experience in leading and collaborating with global teams and/ or multi-agencies teams Strong understanding of Home Team Departments\' business and technical requirements and cognizant of AI technologies across AI domains of Adversarial AI, Vision AI, Embodied AI, Language AI, Multi-modal AI, and Emerging AI. Self-motivated, positive can-do attitude, creative with excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently. All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
