The role works alongside the regional Sales Team, to identify and address the Alternatives needs of Global & Regional Private Banks, Banks, Platforms and FOs, and to enable sales, relationship management, education, and enhance the overall client experience. Language skills and Asian local market experience, as well as sales background are desirable skills. Private Markets knowledge and background, client focus and teamwork will be essential skills.What are the ongoing responsibilities of this position?You will work with the Head of Wealth, Asia and the team to support a strategic plan for Alternatives sales in partnership with Franklin Templeton regional distribution teamsCollaborate with distribution, sales and client service teams, and Specialist Investment Managers (SIMs) within the Asia region to act as a product specialist on our private markets range of strategiesProvide support to maximize the asset raising efforts for each Alternatives product launch, and be a key contributor in the fund selection & approval processCollaborate with team leads on all aspects of onboarding open\xe2\x80\x93ended and closed-end fund offeringsReview and respond appropriately to internal and external client inquiries and collect the data and document required for onboardingBe key contributor to ongoing Alternatives projects across Asia, e.g., entering new regions and launching new productsWhat qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree required, MBA and/or CFA/CAIA preferredPrevious experience and technical knowledge of private markets strategies requiredA high energy level and drive to succeed coupled with ability to work effectively in a team environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSelf-driven with ability to build manage key internal and external relationshipsExperience developing and implementing sales and marketing business plansUnderstanding of key alternative asset classesStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsComfortable with frequent travelAdditional language skills are a plus#LI-APAC#DIRECTORExperience our welcoming culture and reach your professional and personal potential!Our culture is shaped by our diverse global workforce and strongly held core values.
