Job Description


Zscaler is seeking an experienced Finance Director to support our Go-To-Market organization in APJ. As a member of the GTM Finance team, this leadership position will play a critical role in partnering with key stakeholders and cross functional partners to lead the financial planning, forecasting and reporting process, while also developing key metrics and analysis to inform investment decisions and priorities.

The ideal candidate must have GTM Finance / FP&A experience, preferably in a SaaS company and should have an ability to be both hands on and work with the FP&A Support team in India.

Responsibilities include:

  • Acting in a "CFO" capacity, serve as the primary finance business partner to the SVP, APJ Sales and the APJ GTM leadership team
  • Partner with Sales Leadership and cross functional teams to bring awareness of business results, highlighting focus areas to drive business growth
  • Lead the annual planning and monthly/ quarterly forecasting process for APJ including top line and expenses/HC
  • Drive the process to develop a long-range plan and associated financial model for the APJ region to deliver $1B ARR
  • Work with Sales Ops and Sales Comp to understand operational elements critical for success of the region; comp strategy, quota/territory planning, and pipeline analytics
  • Manage headcount and operating expenses, identifying areas of opportunity or risk to the business
  • Deep dive on business investments to understand productivity, cost to book/serve, and other key metrics
  • Enhance and/or develop drivers and ROI based frameworks to further support investment decision making and country expansion
  • Identify opportunities to build and/or streamline processes, policies, and tools to enable efficiency and scale. Work cross functionally to drive change.
  • Partner with HQ to provide regional updates on financial performance and ensure all stakeholders have understanding of current and forecasted expectations
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and support based on business needs
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10+ years of Sales Finance, Operations, or Strategy experience in a high growth environment. Enterprise SaaS experience preferred
  • Ability to influence and provide recommendations to key executives in order to support decision making and execution
  • Working knowledge and understanding of sales cycles, quota setting, territory planning, and sales compensation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks in a fast-paced deadline driven environment with all levels of the organization
  • Advanced Excel analytical skills including a demonstrated ability to develop and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving
  • Proficiency in Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, Tableau, Salesforce.com, Clari, and/or other comparable software systems would be a strong advantage.
