This role can be based at any of our major offices globally (South East Asia, Australia, Middle East, Africa, UK\xe2\x80\xa6)As the Director, you play a pivotal role in identifying, and developing business growth by working in collaboration with the Transport Leadership team, and the wider SJ Group business.Your responsibilities extend to the ongoing development, direction, and delivery of the Strategic Action Plan for the Transport sector. This includes organic growth, capability development, strategic partnerships and alliances. This position is also responsible for developing new business including strategic opportunities, mergers and/or acquisitions and multi-business unit opportunities to achieve profitability and growth goals across the global business.As an ideal candidate, you will have:
20+ years in the industry with proven success in Senior Management roles with a focus on global strategic and sustainable Client Relationship Management and Business Development.
Established industry profile and active involvement in industry associations.
Ability to establish and maintain client relationships, providing expert business development advice.
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline; postgraduate and project management qualifications highly regarded.
In-depth knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and market trends globally.
High level communication skills, including negotiating and resolving highly complex commercial, technical and people matters.
