Implement an effective Operational Risk Management Framework of risk identification, assessment and measurement, acceptance and monitoring to reduce gross operational risk exposure to acceptable levels within risk appetite.
Influence the development of an operational risk culture which is forward looking, risk based and customer focused.
Exercise ongoing risk assessment and identification and adopt a risk based approach to ensure resources are properly allocated to address the risks with appropriate actions taken.
Implement effective assessment and acceptance governance processes, tools and techniques including reporting and monitoring of MI to ensure effective governance over risk management activities
Ensure compliance with the Group\'s standards and regulatory requirements pertaining to Operational Risks
Support BRM Management Team in activities relating to risk forums / reportings / submissions
Support CPBB business/operations in all external / internal audits where required

Strategy
Strengthen overall operational risk management within Consumer, Private and Business Banking (CPBB) to ensure the appropriate controls are in place and effective.
Business
Support the Business in all risk assessment activities covering RCSA, monitoring and managing risk incidents, audits and assurance reviews. Co-ordinate with business heads and Process Owners to ensure cross-functional or segment or product operational risks are effectively and consistently managed with consensus across various concerned business units
Processes
Have an eye for process improvements / new ways of working for efficiency and quality output. This is for both internally in BRM team and externally with other teams. Provide risk input for new system developments and processes

Collaboration with stakeholders / colleagues within BRM and externally.
Risk Management
Support the Business in all risk assessment activities covering RCSA, monitoring and managing risk incidents, audits and assurance reviews. Support in risk management for business new process design / process fixes. Collaborating with Business / Stakeholders to ensure risks are managed, with no gaps / not of materiality . Advise business and co-ordinate resolution where required in areas where significant operational risk exposures exist across the business. Support business in all external / internal audits.

Our Ideal Candidate
Bachelor\'s degree from a recognized University.
10+ years of experience in Risk Management preferably from Banking and/ or Financial Industries
Excellent experience in Retail and wealth Business/ Operations Management
Sound knowledge and familiar with CPBB business environments
Excellent knowledge in Financial matrices, defining executions, involved in supporting the strategy and execution of strategy
Creative problem-solver with good multi-tasking skills, able to prioritise issues and resolve them efficiently.
Strong project management skills, with direct experience in managing business projects.
Mature self-starter who can quickly get up to speed and take a strategic view.
Ability to work on broad strategic projects as well as day-to-day process-oriented tasks.
Strong organisational skills and process discipline in order to drive multiple agendas.
Flexibility and responsiveness in order to handle changing priorities and urgent requests from senior management.
Experience of working in the geographic/functional matrix.
Maintain discretion in dealing with highly confidential information.
