We are proud to offer you our total rewards package which includes bonuses, healthcare, insurance benefits, retirement programs, wellness programs, as well as service and performance awards - not to mention various social and recreational activities, all of which are location specific.
The Director, Commercial Marketing, APAC will lead marketing efforts across the region for the Inari portfolio, including market and product launches, marketing campaigns and collateral creation, conference and congress strategy, KOL strategy, and therapy development within the venous space. The recently acquired Inari Medical is part of Stryker's fast-growing vascular portfolio, delivering innovative solutions for patients with venous diseases like deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. This is a cutting-edge therapy that removes large clots without the need for thrombolytics, helping patients recover faster and safer.
At Stryker, our people drive our mission to make healthcare better. This is a rare opportunity to build a therapy from the ground up and play a lead role in transforming vascular care across APAC. If you're someone who thrives in a challenge, loves seeking out opportunities and ways to grow business while impacting lives, this role could be for you.
What you will do:
Be a single point of contact for all APAC regional marketing activities for the Inari portfolio.
Tailor or organically build local and regional marketing programs to drive awareness, technical expertise, and usage of Inari devices.
Plan and lead key regional commercial / marketing events within the region (conferences, company-sponsored events, overseas MD visits, etc).
Maintain frequent and direct contact with our KOLs. Develop programs to support new users, existing users, and broader market development and physician awareness.
Lead market-assessment work for as-yet unopened APAC markets.
Build market-entry strategies and lead implementation.
Lead upstream marketing efforts for APAC. Map opportunities for new products for APAC countries.
Support teams in direct markets and our partners in distributor markets with targeted programs and activities.
Actively and proactively observe, research, and decipher industry, market, customer, and competitor dynamics. Aggregate observations into specific marketing and sales strategies.
What we're looking for:
Bachelors degree or similar, MBA preferred
Previous medical-device experience (15+ years) within the cardiology, interventional cardiology, interventional cardiology, interventional radiology, or vascular surgery space
Previous commercial and marketing experience, ideally in a leadership and people-management capacity. Sales and sales management experience preferred.
Comfort working in hospitals, specifically hospital cath labs and live case support (full duration of case)
Existing KOL and industry relationships that can be leveraged and expanded
Experience with opening new markets within APAC and building from-scratch product launch plans.
Experience with market development (starting from zero) with new therapies.
Direct experience in key APAC markets including China, Japan, and Australia/New Zealand
Understanding of APAC healthcare systems and reimbursement dynamics
Experience supporting distributors and distributor sales teams
A drive for continuous improvement, a passion for learning, and a positive approach to your work
Mandarin language ability preferred
Ability to travel 25-50% of the time
