Your Career

We are looking for a Director to lead communications for the JAPAC region. In this role, you will be responsible for setting the communications strategy to amplify the work of Palo Alto Networks across 12 countries. A creative and strategic thinker who is excited by tech and innovation and the people that drive it, you are someone who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment and has a proven track record in tech and/or cybersecurity building PR strategies and campaigns. This is a full time position based in Singapore, reporting into the Communications team in our California HQ.

Your Impact

  • Establish a PR strategy in conjunction with senior Sales, Systems Engineering, Legal/Policy, Marketing and People leaders
  • Identify and build media opportunities to amplify Palo Alto Networks work across the region
  • Manage PR agencies across 12 countries to deploy the strategy
  • Strengthen and develop relationships with reporters across the region
  • Create op-eds, blog posts and other content to support Palo Alto Networks priorities
  • Manage and train a team of three including JAPAC spokespeople
  • Support regional analyst outreach and opportunities
Qualifications

Your Experience
  • 10+ years PR and/or communications experience, with a background in tech and/or cybersecurity essential
  • Strong understanding of the media environment across the JAPAC region
  • Experience managing and scaling PR and analyst programs in JAPAC
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, writing sample required
  • Strong team player and creative thinker, with experience working with international teams
  • Ability to build strong senior relationships
  • Highly organized and self-motivated individual who will oversee timely, first-rate execution
  • Ability to work under pressure to adhere to tight, last-minute deadlines
