Slalom Singapore is looking for a strategic leader to join its fast-growing Data Capability. The responsibilities will be split between business and practice development, relationship management, engagement delivery, and people management. Slalom is looking for someone with proven experience and fluency in at least 2 of the following skill groups to deliver value to clients: data strategy, data science, data engineering, data modeling, and recent Gen AI use-cases.

What You'll Do

Practice Building - Drive overall growth of practice area through a combination of business development, talent management, oversight of delivery work, and thought leadership. Team & Individual Development - Maximize team performance through an effective team approach that increases productivity and job satisfaction. Engagement Management - Manage engagement risk, project economics including planning and budgeting, managing accounts receivable, defining deliverable content, and ensuring buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client. Identifies opportunities for growth and maturation of Data offerings. Provides oversight and governance of all sold and managed Data projects. Drives business development with the proper information, tools, and subject matter expertise to sell engagements within the offering. Builds and develops relationship / partnership with local market teams, aligning on sales pursuits, resource capacity and capabilities, and awareness across the region. Builds and develops relationships with technology partners and owns joint sales pursuits.

What You'll Bring

Extensive experience, preferably in consulting management, with at least 14+ years consulting specifically data and analytics strategy, architecture and solution delivery resulting in clear client business outcomes. P&L experience from a comparably sized consulting firm. Broad data and analytics experiences across data strategy, data architecture, data governance, visualizations, AI/ML, legacy data platforms and modern cloud data stack. Deep expertise in defining, architecting, and delivering modern cloud data stack based data and analytical solutions on AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud, as well as Snowflake or Databricks based cloud data platforms, and other related platforms and services part of the modern data stack. Proven history of leveraging and growing existing client base; organic business development responsibilities, i.e. growing new accounts/clients from the ground up. A demonstrated track record of successful consulting engagement management experience in Agile/Scrum environments; including directing and growing other staff members and having a major role in managing and interfacing with senior-level client executives.
