Strategy
Supporting Head of eDiscovery, Operations & Analytics in delivering against the strategic objectives of the function.
Working with the Head of eDiscovery, Operations & Analytics to ensure LCS has the right technology in place to recover, store and analyse electronically stored information in response to requests for use in external litigation or internal investigations.
Support the Head of eDiscovery, Operations & Analytics in building an appropriate data governance framework ensuring the functions remains aligned to all privacy, legal and regulatory standards.
Working with the Head of eDiscovery, Operations & Analytics to promote the awareness of good eDiscovery practices in LCS and the Bank.
Building and managing relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues across LCS and the wider bank.
Business
As required, lead the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s most complex eDiscovery matters and provide oversight to matters being managed by all eDiscovery Associate Directors.
Support the Head of eDiscovery, Operations & Analytics in the implementation of innovative and industry-leading processes, enhancing the eDiscovery capabilities of the bank.
Support the Head of eDiscovery, Operations & Analytics in marketing the functions service offerings to all key internal stakeholders.
Maintaining and developing relationships with all key functional stakeholders, ensuring that the Legal functions requirements are aligned with the wider bank policy.
As required, support the Head of eDiscovery, Operations & Analytics in the development of less experienced members of the team.
Providing timely advice to Legal colleagues on aspects of relevant legal discovery and disclosure frameworks.
Support the Head of eDiscovery Operations & Analytics, in ensuring the function remains aligned to the relevant Risk Management Framework.
Support the development and growth of the function by acting as a trusted and experienced mentor.
Interfacing and directly representing the bank in front of external counsel, law enforcement and regulatory bodies.

Responsible for the adherence and development of controls, ensuring the defensibility of all phases of the eDiscovery lifecycle.
Ensuring the functions forensic practice is carried out in accordance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Assist the relevant LCS colleagues in the development of proportionate data review methodologies by providing expert solutions defensible recommendations.
Responsible for the technical management and utilisation of eDiscovery technology solutions (e.g. Relativity) and providing training to other members of the function when required.

Our Ideal Candidate
8+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in an eDiscovery role with industry recognised qualifications or accreditations.
Significant experience in independently managing large Legal or Investigation eDiscovery matters
An excellent understanding of the legal eDiscovery framework including the relevant legal standards.
Significant experience with eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity, Nuix (Ringtail), Axelerate or Autonomy
Experience across the whole Electronic Data Reference Model including a strong understanding of eDiscovery concepts and the adoption and utilisation of technology.
Understanding of digital forensic practices including experience with Encase, Cellebrite and other standard industry forensic tools.
Role Specific Technical Competencies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask within tight deadlines, and excellent analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts to a wider audience
Demonstrated Legal Project Management experience and an ability to track and manage costs.
