Job Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall enterprise architecture strategy and vision, overseeing the entire IT landscape of an organization, ensuring it aligns with business goals and strategy Define and elaborate SMBC's system target architecture blueprint, which allows to have a common technology direction aligning with business strategy Establish and maintain the overarching EA framework, policy, standard, procedure, guidelines, ensuring adherence to architecture guiding principles and standard Creating and maintaining system landscape diagrams that visualize the overall IT and business landscape Establish and maintain the as-is & to-be architectures for each domain based on the SMBC enterprise architecture framework Establish and maintain the strategy and roadmap to adopt the target architecture , and architecture standards & guidelines and the governance process Conduct the architectural and security review for all the key projects, and provide the technical consultation support to implementation Work in close collaboration with IT & Biz project teams to improve the architecture and security design of applications Effectively collaborate with different stakeholders in the organization to drive & support the digital transformation Leads the enterprise architect team to design and implement the solution for foundational IT platforms such as hybrid cloud , data Lakehouse, API Portal and API gateway, Enterprise Service Bus etc. Collaborate with the IT project managers and technical architects to review and validate the solution design to ensure in line with enterprise IT strategy, standards and guidelines

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree with min. of 15 years of experience in solutioning for large complex programs with experience in banking solutions. Hands-on experience with large-scale enterprise IT systems and banking applications. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior management effectively, supported by strong verbal, written communication, and executive presence. Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman). Experience with cloud computing platforms and services. Familiarity with core banking systems, digital banking platforms, payment gateways, and cybersecurity. Proficiency in designing scalable, secure, and compliant IT infrastructure. Strong knowledge in security standards and practices, experience in design the solution to meet the security requirement. Ability to assess complex IT environments and propose effective architecture solutions. Strategic thinking and innovation to improve IT capabilities. Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and projects, ability to foster collaboration between IT and business units. Knowledge of emerging technologies like AI, blockchain, and fintech innovations relevant to banking. *
