Responsible for managing Business Partners and overseeing their work in providing commercial and financial insights to senior management of respective segment/platform.
Drive Business Partners team based on strategic direction set by Group Head of Finance Business Partners, to support the various segments/platforms in achieving their objectives and business goals.
Provide guidance and direction to the Business Partners team on their day-to-day activities, ensuring that they are meeting their responsibilities and delivering quality work.
Ensure that the Business Partners team is providing timely and accurate financial information and analysis to support decision-making across the organization.
Provide deal support for Keppel balance sheet investments (acquisitions and divestments) and provide inputs to the FM&I Transactions Team in terms of deal support for Fund-related acquisitions and divestments. Liaise with other finance functions to ensure that accounting and tax impacts are appropriately considered.
Lead the financial planning and analysis function, including driving quarterly forecasts and annual budget exercise, reviewing operational plans, and providing variance analysis for monthly/quarterly reports, board papers, and other external reporting requirements.
Liaise with JV partners on matters arising, such as dividend distributions, shareholder loans, other financial and operational matters.
Support the Group Head of Finance Business Partners in the annual review and amendment of the Financial Authorisation Limits.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the Business Partners team to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Coordinate any required training, performance management, personnel forecasting for Segment Business Partners team.
