Job Description
Job Title: VP-Director FX (NDF) TraderJob PurposeThe individual will join FX and Rates trading team in SMBC Global Markets & Treasury Asia Pacific division (GMTAP) and be responsible for market making and risk management in FX (NDF) productsJob Responsibilities
- To manage SMBC clients\' transactions and hedge the position in interbank market
- To maximize SMBC clients\' FX (NDF) product transaction volume and revenue
- To enchance trading desk to provide top notch professional service to SMBC\'s clients
- To adhere all SMBC rules, regulations and compliance requirements
- Collect and update market information, provide insightful market comments to SMBC colleagues
- Good bachelor degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics or Commerce
- 5-10 years experience in FX (NDF) as interbank trader
- Good working knowledge of FX spot, forward and options
- Knowledge of onshore markets and regulations in APAC region
- Knowledge of Foreign Exchange and Interest Rate Markets
- Good fundamental and technical market analytical skills
- Comfortable with data and model analysis
- Good team player with strong ethics
- Well read/interest in financial markets
