Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

Head of IT Audit

to lead the technology audit function for a leading banking client in Singapore. This role is critical in ensuring that the bank's IT systems, cybersecurity controls, and technology risk management practices meet both internal governance standards and the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and other regulatory requirements.


The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, oversee audit planning and execution, and act as a trusted advisor to senior management and the Audit Committee.

Responsibilities

+ Develop and execute a comprehensive IT audit plan covering infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies. + Ensure adherence to MAS Technology Risk Management (TRM) Guidelines, Outsourcing Guidelines, Cyber Hygiene requirements, and MAS Notice 644.
+ Evaluate IT risks across governance, architecture, operations, and third?party service providers.
+ Lead audits of IT systems, cybersecurity frameworks, and digital transformation initiatives, delivering actionable recommendations.
+ Present findings to senior management, Audit Committee, and regulators, influencing decision?making at the highest level.
+ Mentor and guide IT audit professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
+ Lead IT audit strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive IT audit plan aligned with business objectives and regulatory expectations.
+ Manage audit team: Provide leadership, mentoring, and oversight to IT audit professionals.

Requirements

+ Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CISM preferred. + 15+ years of IT audit and risk management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within banking or financial services.
+ Strong knowledge of MAS regulations and international standards (ISO 27001, COBIT, NIST).
+ Proven leadership skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders and regulators.
+ Excellent communication and analytical skills, with a track record of delivering actionable insights.
