Sizable and established hospitality, tourism and entertainment group. With upcoming expansion of business and increasing footprint in Singapore, the company is looking to grow its technology capabilities.Overview
The Director, Data Centre will be responsible for the end-to-end management of a new data centre project, encompassing everything from initial design and planning to full operational implementation. This role requires a visionary leader with extensive experience in data centre architecture, construction, and operation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale data centre projects, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the latest technologies and industry best practices.Responsibilities:

• Reporting directly to the Group CIO, you will be the Head of Data Center
• Lead the design and implementation of new data centers from scratch.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of data center projects from planning to execution.
• Ensure data centers are designed for optimal performance, efficiency, and scalability.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and resources for data center projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align data center initiatives with business needs.
• Maintain high standards of data center operations, security, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in data centre management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience in designing, building, and managing large-scale data centres from scratch.
• Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure components, including power, cooling, networking, and security systems.
• Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or data centre management (CDCP, CDCS) is a plus.
