Assist Head of Japan to identify and originate investment opportunities in accordance with KCJ\xe2\x80\x99s mandate to meet business performance objectives.
Structuring, assessing and negotiating transactions including leading and supervising all due-diligence, financial modeling, deal analytics, financing and legal documentation.
Identifying, scoping, engaging, and coordinating with external advisors, including prudently managing due-diligence budget through execution.
Making an investment case internally including presenting to, and seeking approvals of, committees and boards.
Building and maintaining relationships with partners, service providers, brokers, financiers and other asset stakeholders.
Planning asset management strategies in accordance with investment thesis, including operational, commercial and capital structure improvements and interventions.
Evaluating and executing investment exits.
Guiding, mentoring and developing junior members within the team.
Provide other business analysis and update as and when required.
Provide support to other Keppel initiatives as and when required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with minimum 14 years of relevant real estate experience, of which 8 years in managerial position.
Experience in real estate private equity/investment management will be an added advantage.
Effectively bilingual in both written and spoken Japanese and English.
Highly numerate with strong analytical and Excel-based modelling skills.
Ability to multi-task; entrepreneurial, and self-directed individual with demonstrable ability to effectively complete tasks within demanding timelines and competing priorities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work with, engage, and convince others and motivate the team.
Creative and innovative; creation of new ideas. A strong lateral thinker.
Good working level of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
