The IT Business Partner (ITBP) is the primary strategic interface from IT to the assigned business units or functional area senior leadership team. This role will primarily interface with the ELT member and the business units\xe2\x80\x99 leadership team. The main purpose is to understand market challenges, including customer priorities, opportunities and lead the assigned stakeholder group to develop business technology strategy and co-develop an IT capabilities roadmap. The ITBP will also lead the domain consultant teams to drive solution discovery and the strategic implementation approach, risk management and relationship management.
The ITBP will provide strategic value consult and guidance on the assigned stakeholder(s) IT capability needs, and IT led initiatives by communicating decisions, risks, priorities and relevant portfolio and project information. The role will proactively review IT performance scorecard relevant to the stakeholder, educate stakeholders on technology risks, digitization, IT best practices and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of business units or functions. The ITBP will also partner business leadership, and other key stakeholders as identified, to co-develop sound business cases, scope, and prioritize projects based on predefined criteria (e.g. return on investment, productivity, compliance etc).
Internally, the ITBP will work closely with the domain solutioning teams to advocate business needs with the execution and delivery of IT solutions and provide constructive feedback from customers for continuous improvement and innovation efforts. The ITBP will also work with Centers of Excellence (COEs) and resource owners to plan for the pipeline of project deliverables. This role is a key member of the ITLT and business/function LT, providing business inputs and knowledge to inform the overall business and IT priorities. Responsible for the development and implementation of strategic long term (3years+) IT capability roadmaps and to ensure successful introductions across the organization and with customers (right solutions at the right time to meet customer needs) Advisory and facilitation with assigned [insert business/function] leadership team(s) to develop annual IT investment portfolio and budgets for respective business areas. Anticipate and develop solution concepts, perform business and IT risk analysis and business cases for new investments. Stakeholder engagement and influence through strong business acumen, systemic thinking and risk management view. Navigate [business units or functions] to create network of advocates and upskill general IT knowledge. Act as the key liaison across business units and/or functions, the IT department, and outside vendors. Co-define [business/function] portfolio on IT investments with sound business cases/rationale and partner stakeholders to drive adoption and maximize benefits realization (ROI) Create consensus with other functions as to the timing of solution introductions and withdrawals, as well as ensure product phase-in-phase-out plans in place, proactively anticipating gaps and overlaps within the portfolio. Make judgement calls and defuse conflicting situations between urgent customer demands and established IT practices Create shared vision of their respective solutions and facilitate decision making and arbitration relating to trade-offs both within and between different solution platforms. Identify, screen and evaluate new solution opportunities to address unmet (internal and external) customer needs. Partner and influence internal IT leadership to role model, drive IT best practices, and enterprise integration value consistently Collaborate with architecture and operations teams to ensure solution compatibility with company standards. Collaborate with the Project Management Office and IT resource owners on the intake process and prioritization of candidate projects across the company. Sense and anticipate business/functions need and use judgement to make priority decision for engagement and level of resources involvement Approvals on IT related matters within scope for IT for assigned business unit/function, as governed by relevant IT policies.

Requirements
Bachelor\'s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
15+ years of experience in various IT services and business segment, with at least 5 years of experience in an IT Business Partner role d eveloping and executing/program managing strategic plans and/or project portfolios.
At least 5 years of people and change leadership experience
Earlier experience supporting the Corporate functions including Finance, HR and Legal; with IT solutions and services including but not limited to ERP, Analytics, Planning, HRIS, Payroll, Tax, Treasury and inter-company and intra-company collaborative systems
Experience in delivering IT solutions to support business growth and transformation.
Strong project management skills and experience in managing budgets/financial management
Demonstrated experience to work effectively across all levels of an organization and IT function; can influence peers shaping programs to meet business needs
Product Development Management Association- New Product Development Professional (NPDP) certification is desirable.
Operational excellence [business/function operational background] relevant to assigned stakeholders
