:Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities (THKMC) is looking for a dynamic and experienced IT Director to lead the Digital Innovation and Technology (DIT) team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and directing information technology operations, ensuring the alignment of IT infrastructure with the overall business strategy. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and management skills to oversee our technological needs and to drive forward our IT initiatives. You should have a solid technical background in IT and computer systems as well as leadership skills to manage and motivate people. A good track record and experience in creating and implementing IT policies and systems that will meet the organisation\'s objectives. The goal is to ensure IT systems and people are effective and functioning within the limits of budget, time and specifications of the organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning: Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the company\'s goals and objectives.Team leadership: Manage and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional developmentNeeds Analysis: Analyze the business requirements of all business units and departments to determine their technology needsProject Management: Oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific short-term and long-term IT projects.Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective technology solutionsGovernance: Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support good governance and IT practices within the organisationSecurity and Compliance: Ensure the security of IT systems and data, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and standardsInfrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company\'s IT infrastructure.Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers for establishing cost-efficient contractsInnovation and Improvement: Identify opportunities for technology improvements and innovations to enhance business operationsQualifications:Requirements and skills:Minimum of 15 years of proven experience in IT management, with at least 5 years as IT director or similar roleDemonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic IT plansExperience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specificationsSound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc.Experience in controlling information technology budgetStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issuesStrong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse teamExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent; Post-graduate qualification would be a plusCandidates with Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Information Technology Project Manager (CITPM) certification would be an added advantageAbout Us:THKMC was incorporated on 13 October 2011 as a charity to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large, and achieved an Institute of Public Character (IPC) status on 18 November 2011.
