Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Director - Learning, Leadership Development & Capabilities who would lead the overall strategy & delivery of all learning, capability & leadership development initiatives for 4 Operating Units in Asia \xe2\x80\x93 India & South-West Asia, Greater China & Mongolia, Japan & Korea and ASEAN & South Pacific. This role reports to the Talent & Development Director Asia and is part of the Global learning and leadership development COE.

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do for Us

  • Strategizing & integration of comprehensive learning strategies at the operating unit (OU) level, encompassing leadership, enterprise, and functional learning. The Learning & Capabilities Director liaises with Global Centers of Excellence (CoE) teams, as well as local Learning Delivery managers to ensure effective development and deployment of leadership and enterprise solutions..
  • This role works with Business Stakeholders & HR teams to help define the overall requirements and identify areas that may require localized support. They ensure that the OU experiences the integrated learning model that supports them to accelerate their business for growth.
  • The role stewards the amplification of all Global capability Learning solutions; pro-actively anticipating future needs, and promoting synergy across the various learning platforms and strategies.
  • The role folder communicates learning strategy to the OUs \xe2\x80\x93 ensure learning solutions are effectively understand and fully utilized. The role holder also represents the voice of local stakeholders and the business, informing Global Learning Center of Excellence teams about the applicability and adaptability of group solutions.
  • Work with functional capability teams, leadership and with relevant global practice leads (leadership, enterprise and functional) to ensure there is a define learning plan at the OU level
  • Provide Coordination and synchronization of global and local learning solutions deployments, ensuring a smooth and efficient rollout.
  • Integration of key learning elements into talent initiatives, enabling the connection of assessment and development solutions at the global functional level. This includes implementing a continuous learning perspective that aligns with broader talent strategies and initiatives in the organization.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • 8 - 12 years in learning and development and/ or capabilities and skill development and/ or talent development,
  • Good understanding of integrated learning and development solutions and COE models.
  • Proven experience in capability and skill development
  • Experience in leadership, Enterprise and functional learning.
  • Experience as country or regional Learning manager.
  • Experience in operating roles to provide wider business context a distinct benefit.
  • Experienced working in a matrixed team where influencing and working in a network is required \xe2\x80\x93 collaboration and co-creation a key element of the role as is working through others and achieving working through informal guiding coalitions vs direct teams.
  • Role requires an integrator, collaborator mindset \xe2\x80\x93 always looking for the team win.
  • Experience in managing ambiguity and paradox and balancing competing priorities.
