WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Job purpose This role will be responsible for the deliverance of Design, Technical & Project Outcomes to Owning Companies and their appointed Consultants in Asia. Primary Responsibilities Hotel Consultancy Services Agreement (HCSA) Service Execution

  • Follow the work flow of the Design & Technical Services (D&TS) Phases of Construction from Concept to Completion of works as outlined in our standard HCSA document:
  • Supply of Product & Brand Standards
  • Development of Hotel Programming & Design Briefs
  • Drive selection of Project Consultants
  • Preliminary Opportunity Studies Assessment
  • Brand Validation Phase (BV Document)
  • Ongoing Design Study Assessment (Architecture, Structure, MEP, IT, Specialized Equipment, Interior Design & BOH analysis)
  • Co-ordination with Architect, MEP & Interior Design Consultants & other specialized design/hotel consultants.
  • Ongoing Review & Support during Design Development, & Construction Phases
  • Review and approve final documents upon handover of project.
D&TS Assistance delivery to Owning Companies on Multiple Contracts
  • Preparing the Project Hotel Design Brief; inclusive of Spatial Plannning, Programming & \xe2\x80\x98Look&Feel\xe2\x80\x99 relative to the Site & Brand approach.
  • Analyzing spatial requirements for both refurbishment & new build projects to ensure efficiency and functionality.
  • Nomination, Review & Approval of Project Design Consultants
  • Guide & Influence Design Outcomes Across multiple Design Disciplines namely Interior & Architectural Design.
  • Coordinating and integrating the information supplied by Ennismore\xe2\x80\x99s experts (standards and specifications for design, construction, MEP & specialized equipment & OS&E)
  • Development Team Support such as area scheduling, Property improvement Planning (eg. reviewing of plans, layouts and project documentation), Budgeting & Design Vision Pitching.
  • Review and approve ongoing project design documentation; Ensure that the Ennismore standards (design, operation, maintenance, etc) of the different hotels & Brands are met.
  • Facilitating mock up room approval processes including recommendations on construction works & workmanship according to Brand & Product Standards before completion.
  • Support Project team during Construction & pre-opening phase including defect inspection, testing, commissioning and handover review.
  • Carry out any other duties as requested by the Vice President Design & Technical Services
  • Maintain records of all the projects undertaken
YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:
  • Minimum 10 years experience in hospitality project design / construction
  • Project management, project budgeting and timeline planning
  • Negotiation and design led problem solving
  • Knowledge of drafting software and sketching
  • Good public relations and leadership skills
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of employees
  • Good team working skills and able to work effectively in team environment
  • Good organizational & coordination skills
  • Flexible in work hours and able to frequently travel
  • Ability to manage tasks across multiple simultaneously active projects.
  • Liaise with Operators, In-house Technical Team, Project Teams and Owners
