Job Responsibilities

To cover transactions in South & South East Asia (SSEA) region, corporate and structured loans To lead origination, ideation, structuring and execution of transactions in responsible markets To develop close working relationships with front office, including RMs and with internal product partners, to increase cross-sell and collaboration in marketing for deals. To enhance presence and league table status of SMBC's syndication franchise. To work closely with risk, credit, legal, and external investors to ensure smooth execution and successful syndication of transactions. To act as mentor to junior staff on the team

Job Requirement

University degree required; MBA in Finance / chartered accountant / chartered financial analyst with 10-12 years of relevant experience in loan syndications, structured finance, investment banking, credit analysis, or related functions. Strong understanding of loan documentation, credit structuring, and syndication market practices. Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills. Proficiency in financial modeling and preparing investor materials. Ability to lead, work independently & collaboratively across internal teams & external stakeholders. Proven ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining attention to details & meeting tight timelines. Client-oriented with the ability and maturity to deal with a diverse clientele * Highly motivated, independent and a strong team player
