We are privileged to touch the lives of almost every citizen and business in Maldives through our extensive network of branches, agents, relationship managers and online banking facilities.The Corporate Banking Division delivers a wide range of corporate banking solutions including traditional lending, project finance, trade finance and construction finance as well as foreign exchange, cards and internet banking services. The corporate banking business model is based on understanding the needs of our corporate customers and responding efficiently to those needs. The new Director will develop and lead a team of relationship managers in this regard.The Director of Corporate Banking will report directly to the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s Chief Executive Officer and will be an important member of the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s executive committee.As the Director of Corporate Banking you will:

  • Be responsible for the overall Corporate Banking Strategy which aligns the needs of corporate customers with the long-term growth and business success of the Bank.
  • Identify appropriate business development opportunities with existing and new clients while at the same time optimizing credit and risk management standards.
  • Establish and develop strong relationships with corporate clients and provide a full banking solution including lending, cards and digital payment services
  • Contribute to the wider development and overall success of the Bank through proactively working with executive colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Lead and develop a team of relationship managers and staff to ensure the highest standards of customer service and business performance are achieved.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
  • Strong business leadership experience, ideally in a comparable Corporate Banking role.
  • Excellent credit assessment skills, relationship management and customer service skills.
  • Proven leadership and people management experience.
  • Proven ability to network externally and to develop strong connections with the business community, government and other stakeholders.
