The Director of Digital Banking Strategy & Growth is a senior leadership role responsible for defining, championing, and executing the firm's comprehensive digital banking roadmap. This leader will drive market share expansion, increase digital adoption, and own the key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue generation across all digital channels (web, mobile app, API services). The ideal candidate is a visionary strategist with a proven track record of translating complex market dynamics into actionable, customer-centric digital products and services.





What you'll do



Digital Strategy Ownership:

Define and maintain the digital banking strategy and growth objectives, ensuring alignment with the bank's overall strategic priorities, including profitability, cost-to-serve reduction, and market leadership.

Market Intelligence:

Conduct continuous competitive analysis and research on emerging financial technology trends, regulatory changes, and consumer behaviours to identify new growth opportunities and preempt disruption.

Future-Proofing:

Lead innovation sprints and exploration of emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML applications, Open Banking, embedded finance) for integration into the core product ecosystem.

Revenue Generation:

Own the digital P&L, driving strategies to maximize non-interest income and increase the cross-sell and upsell of core banking products through digital channels.

Adoption & Engagement:

Develop and execute growth-hacking and adoption strategies (A/B testing, personalization, optimized user journeys) to significantly boost daily/monthly active users (DAU/MAU) and digital transaction volumes.

Performance Monitoring:

Define, monitor, and report on key digital metrics, including Customer Lifetime Value (CLV), Cost of Customer Acquisition (CAC), Digital Service Utilization Rate, and Net Promoter Score (NPS).

Who you are



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience in the Financial Services, Banking, or Fintech industries. 5 years in a senior strategy, growth, or product leadership role focused on digital channels. Proven ability to build and own a business case, manage a budget, and demonstrate a measurable return on investment (ROI) from digital initiatives. Deep expertise in leveraging data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tableau) to derive actionable customer insights. Expert-level knowledge of modern digital marketing, user experience (UX) design principles, and Agile development methodologies.
