About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic

Director of IT

to lead our regional technology function. This role requires a strong balance of

hands-on technical expertise

and

strategic leadership

, with responsibility for driving IT transformation, managing day-to-day infrastructure operations, and aligning technology initiatives with business goals.


The Director of IT will be a key partner to senior management, ensuring our IT strategy enables growth, innovation, and operational excellence across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee

regional IT strategy

, aligning with business objectives and digital transformation goals. Provide

hands-on leadership

in managing infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, and applications (with strong focus on

SAP

and enterprise platforms). Drive IT transformation initiatives, including

system upgrades, process automation, and cloud adoption

. Partner closely with business leaders to identify opportunities where technology can enhance performance, efficiency, and customer experience. Oversee the

daily operations

of IT teams, ensuring service reliability, system uptime, and strong user support. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team across multiple geographies. Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and technology investments effectively. Ensure compliance with IT governance, risk management, and security standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred).

10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience

, with

regional exposure

in Asia Pacific or equivalent markets. Proven track record in

SAP systems, IT infrastructure, and enterprise applications

. Strong understanding of

cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and digital transformation

. Ability to

balance strategic planning with hands-on execution

. Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to partner at C-suite level. Strong leadership qualities, with experience managing

multicultural regional teams

. Demonstrated success in leading

large-scale IT transformation projects
