Sitting in the heart of the central business district and Marina Bay, with panoramic views of the Singapore city skyline, the 583-room PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore is the country\'s first \'Garden-in-a-Hotel\'.A champion of sustainability, environmental responsibility and an advocate for green innovations in the hospitality industry, the hotel is home to one of Southeast Asia\'s largest indoor sky-lit atrium, designed by the late Architect John Portman, containing over 2,400 plants, trees, shrubs and groundcovers from more than 60 varieties of flora spread across 1,400 square metres of interior space.A rooftop Urban Farm spanning 150 square metres houses over 60 varieties of fruits, vegetables, herbs and edible flowers, forming the backbone of the hotel\'s farm-to-table, farm-to-bar and farm-to-spa concepts.The RoleThe Director of Revenue Management is responsible to manage optimal yield and pricing tactics at the hotel level through proper management of inventories and public space. He/she shall develop and implement actions and tactics to achieve the revenue goals as stated in the business plan through analytical and technical knowledge of various hotel systems.The incumbent will also be responsible for the implementation of revenue management tools, processes and guidelines and make recommendation for sales, room mix, catering contribution, and pricing.

  • Monitor and review daily inventory and rate control - including booking pace, regrets, sales thresholds, market segmentation, market success, variance and build-ups, availability calendar, call performances and adjust future strategies as required.
  • Co-ordinate throughout hotel, effective rate and inventory controls, forecasting and market mix management and other hotel operations responsibilities.
  • Review sales booking daily and make changes to sales guidelines for minimum 12 months into future.
  • Control the booking pace and cut-off date enforcement for groups.
  • Determine demand periods for public space, room and catering through analysis of historical data, booking trends and any other additional information. Analyse daily occupancy and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Review segments in order to establish specific market segment progress versus our goals.
  • Research relevant market intelligence, competitor information and maintain an active database of revenue best practices. Complete competitive information reports for benchmarking against competitive set (fair market share report) and aggressively drive revenue performance to ensure superior performance within competitive set.
  • Perform appropriate analysis to assist in making revenue optimisation recommendations and review the effectiveness of the hotel\'s pricing regularly.
  • Maximize revenue opportunities through Loyalty and partnership marketing activities.
  • Prepare displacement analysis to illustrate the value of a piece of business.
  • Conduct Revenue Management audits regularly in all relevant departments.
  • Work closely with the various stakeholders and produce the annual revenue budget.
Talent Profile
  • Minimum degree from a recognized hospitality / tertiary institution.
  • Minimum 4 years working experience in similar capacity with a 5-star international hotel.
  • Intense attention to detail and superlative communication skills both oral and written.
  • A broad-based experience with technology preferred.
  • High levels of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Possess strong team playing skills, leadership skills and mature professionalism.
  • Excellent interpersonal and human relations abilities.
  • Act with utmost integrity.
