Job Description

On behalf of one of its clients, the French Chamber of Commerce is looking for a Director of Strategic Sales - Capital Markets.
Our client is a fast-growing fintech company operating in the capital markets space. The firm applies advanced research in market microstructure to enhance the liquidity and visibility of small and mid-sized listed companies across regional exchanges. Their innovative solution addresses the structural imbalance of trading activity dominated by large caps, offering a cost-efficient and scalable service designed for smaller listed firms.
Key Responsibilities

  • Originate and close strategic partnerships with listed companies across regional exchanges, engaging directly with senior stakeholders (CEOs, CFOs, IROs, Boards).
  • Leverage a strong professional network in capital markets, investor relations, or financial services to generate qualified leads.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to onboarding -- including pitching, solution design, negotiation, and contracting.
  • Act as the commercial representative of the company in Singapore, participating in industry events, investor forums, and executive roundtables.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and provide strategic recommendations that enhance product positioning and commercial strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (data, quantitative research, marketing) to refine the value proposition and customize proposals for each client.
  • Contribute to the development of a commercial team in Singapore as the business expands.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in capital markets, investment banking, structured products, or B2B fintech solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in driving business growth, achieving significant sales targets, and closing high-value B2B service contracts.
  • Strong professional network among listed companies, family offices, investor relations advisors, or financial institutions in Singapore and the region.
  • Solid understanding of market structure, liquidity dynamics, and the impact of trading activity on company valuation.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on and autonomous approach, eager to scale an early-stage business with high growth potential.
  • Fluency in English required; Mandarin or Bahasa would be an advantage.
