Overview:

Commtech Asia is seeking a forward-thinking and commercially astute

Director of Sustainability Services

to lead the evolution of our sustainability offering across APAC. This strategic role will shape and deliver our

Sustainability as a Service (SaaS)

model--integrating environmental performance with technical excellence to drive measurable outcomes for mission-critical environments.





As a senior leader, you will champion sustainable innovation across the built environment, aligning with our commitment to reliability, safety, and long-term resilience. The ideal candidate will bring

at least five years of experience in sustainability

, with a strong foundation in

Economics, Financial Analysis, and ESG Investing

, and a proven ability to translate sustainability goals into high-performing solutions for data centres, financial institutions, and complex infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Growth & Business Development

Define and execute a regional roadmap for sustainability services aligned with Commtech Asia's commissioning methodology. Identify new commercial opportunities and develop ESG-aligned service offerings for high-performance buildings. Cultivate strategic partnerships and client relationships across APAC.

Technical Integration & Service Innovation

Lead the integration of sustainability metrics into commissioning, testing, and verification workflows. Develop and deliver carbon lifecycle assessments, energy modelling, and net-zero strategies. Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ESG performance into every stage of the project lifecycle.

Leadership & Industry Engagement

Build and mentor a multidisciplinary team of sustainability professionals and technical advisors. Influence internal operations to meet sustainability targets and support green certifications. Represent Commtech Asia as a thought leader at industry forums, client briefings, and technical workshops.

Performance Monitoring & Compliance

Oversee environmental performance reporting using frameworks such as LEED, WELL, BREEAM, and ISO 14001. Ensure compliance with regional legislation and international certification standards. Drive innovation in ESG data analytics, dashboards, and reporting platforms.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 5 years of experience in sustainability consulting, ideally within data centres, financial services, or business-critical sectors. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or equivalent financial credentials preferred. Academic background in Economics, ESG Investing, Mathematics, or Environmental Engineering. Proven track record in delivering service-based sustainability solutions.
