Job Description

Responsible for leading the strategic planning and execution of all engineering and technical operations, with a strong focus on overseeing asset enhancement initiatives and supporting potential new hotel management agreements. This role is pivotal in ensuring the Hotel's infrastructure upholds luxury standards while aligning with future expansion and brand development goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Asset Enhancement and Development Projects

Lead the planning, budgeting, and execution of major rejuvenate and refurbishment projects. Collaborate with design consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. Actively contribute to the development and validation of improvement plans including technical assessments and recommendations. Ensure all works comply with regulatory standards and brand guidelines. Liaise closely with Engineering in all project matters including critical path planning and project completion timelines. Take full ownership of assigned new hotel projects, ensuring successful project handover to Hotel Operations. Review and coordinate layouts and specifications for both Front of the House and Back of the House areas to ensure functional practicality. Conduct design review of MEP systems and Fire Life Safety at a critical stage, integrating considerations across landscape architecture, interior design, sustainability, structural elements and facility design. Liaise with all relevant parties and operating departments to ensure their input is incorporated into the design process. Review drawings and specifications submitted by design consultants. Ensure compliance with architectural, landscape, interiors and construction standards.

Other Responsibilities

Be conversant with and have an ability interpret Architectural, ID and M&E drawings and provide feedback accordingly. Review ID and FF&E packages including drawings, mock ups, sample approvals and FF&E schedules. Attend mock-up room evaluation sessions and prepare detailed review reports. Advise and support the Project Managers to ensure completion within approved development budgets. * Monitor adherence to project timelines and proactively manage variations to align with Company branding specifications and service standards.
