Job Description


Role Responsibilities

  • This role works in the Client & Entity Enablement (CEE) Hive, leading a workstream to design how target state platforms and processes are operationalised with end users across end-to-end Client Lifecycle Management processes (Client Onboarding, Maintenance, Review and Offboarding) and capabilities (Entity Management, Client Due Diligence/Know Your Client, Tax and OTC Regulations).
  • Bring an expert mix of Client Lifecycle Management subject matter, design expertise and effective delivery/project management to drive quality process and operating model design outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with Process Owner Delegates, Lead Product Owner, Business Analysis Lead and end user representatives to distil problem statements, identify solution options and define target state business processes and BAU roles and responsibilities.
  • Partner closely with Process Owner Delegates to ensure processes are implementable and sustainable in BAU, ensuring risk, control, user experience and client experience factors are considered in the design.
  • Partner closely with Change Management Lead to ensure an effective transition from upstream design to user-facing change implementation activities, including alignment and allocation of joint team resources.
Responsibilities
  • Plan and actively manage delivery to ensure quality output is delivered to schedule in line with governance/approval frameworks.
  • Chair design forums, coordinating with wider delivery teams to align agenda, Quality Assure design proposals prior to them being tabled, drive discussion and capture clear forum decisioning and actions.
  • Support Head of Change Management in optimising team output through identifying, defining and implementing improvements to delivery approaches, ways of working, etc.
Lead a team to deliver operating model and process design outcomes, including:
  • Identification of clear problem statements, shaping of solution options and facilitation of decisions with key stakeholders across high-level and detailed design phases.
  • Detailed operating model design, including assessing the current state and defining future state design across people, process, technology, and information considerations.
  • Effective engagement and collaborative problem-solving across front-to-back stakeholder groups (Front Office, Middle Office, Operations, Compliance functions and Technology).
  • Quality Assurance of design content across the team.
  • Providing design inputs to Process Owner and SME teams to enable the development of detailed end-user guidance.

Our Ideal Candidate

Domain Knowledge and Experience
  • 15+ years delivering business process and/or Target Operating Model-centric outcomes, having been successful in roles such as a Process Design Lead, Lead Business Architect or Lead Business Consultant.
  • Has delivered Process / Operating Model design and business change implementations at scale \xe2\x80\x93 either global or regional delivery, supporting multiple impacted business functions.
  • Has led, managed and coached a delivery team to effective business outcomes in high-paced-delivery environments.
  • Has implemented complex process/system changes in Client Lifecycle Management and/or Client Due Diligence platforms and processes in a business-facing role.
Role Specific Technical Competencies

Skills and Competencies
  • Excellent written, communication and presentation skills; able to effectively engage, influence and manage senior business stakeholders.
  • Able to engage senior management audiences effectively; can distil complex detail into relevant key messages to drive decisions and outcomes.
  • Ability to facilitate effective workshops, discussions and meetings with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Possesses strong negotiation and influencing skills, with an ability to manage negotiations so that acceptable agreement between multiple parties is obtained.
  • Eye for detail, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, able to bring clarity and structure to areas of ambiguity.
  • Able to think out of the box to identify new ideas and options for achieving a given objective.
  • Strong domain knowledge and experience in Wholesale Banking, especially in the client on-boarding and/or due diligence (KYC), Tax (FATCA, CRS), Regulations (MIFID, EMIR, Dodd Frank) or applicable product knowledge.
  • Ability to form strong working relationships with stakeholders and delivery team to enable collaborative decisioning and delivery.
  • Proficient in tools such as Microsoft Office, Confluence, JIRA, etc.
