Purpose of the role: Based in Singapore, reporting to Head of Commercial, Private Wealth Asia. Scope: Primary 90% Wealth Planning, Trust Marketing and Sales, Trust Establishment, and 10% Trust Relationship Management with existing clients Key responsibilities: Business Development Development and implementation of the trust business strategy in conjunction with the Senior Management Team. Has strong influencing skills and displays intercultural awareness when communicating with others Reviewing/drafting necessary pitch books and client presentations, corresponding legal, trust, and other commercial documentation Prepare trust proposals and fee illustrations Strengthening and/or build up of network of external advisers focus to Southeast Asia and North Asia markets Close collaboration with clients, their legal and tax advisers, and Trust Managers pre- and post-structure setup Coordinating, assisting, and presenting in trust marketing activities/seminars Ability to prioritize, plan and control activities to achieve goals and meet individual/team annual commercial targets assigned Develop and maintain strong long-term key clients' relationships, understanding their needs and expectations and ensuring they are engaged in a professional and timely manner. Client Relationship Liaise with compliance and trust management to on-board new businesses i.e. collecting due diligence information and documents, conducting checks / searches and obtaining client-acceptance approval As a senior point of contact, face to face, verbal and written communication with clients, trust related parties and advisers on the most complex issues, in a professional and timely manner. In depth knowledge of certain clients' wealth and family circumstances being a source of informal advice for trust related parties, clients and team members while obtaining formal advice for clients where required and maximize client retention. Development of additional business with the client and their wider network, as appropriate, for Singapore and the wider Group. Financial Management To deliver or exceed the allocated New Business Revenue budget. To preserve and grow income in the team and wider business, negotiating fees as appropriate. Responsible for providing timely client information to the Executive Director and Senior Management Team as required for management purposes. Risk Management/Compliance Responsible for all administration, risk and compliance matters relating to the team's administration of its clients, in accordance with the policies and procedures manual and in association with other relevant departments. Ensure licensed Vistra entities remain compliant with prevailing local and international legislation. Promote an effective AML/CFT culture as described above within the team. Attendance at ad hoc meetings as required. Consider and sign-off trustee decisions within agreed parameters. Attributes & Skills: Experience in servicing PRC clients is preferred. Bilingual in English and Mandarin. Excellent knowledgeable in Global Wealth Planning and Structuring. Highly Proficient in Trust structuring and General Trust Administration. In-depth technical knowledge and thorough understanding of the relevant laws and tax rules relating to private client trust business. Experience in IPO related trust structures is preferred In-depth understanding of the duties and responsibilities of a fiduciary, and an appreciation of industry best practice in relation to the administration of client entities. Relevant experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the professional or financial services industry Education/Professional Qualifications: Minimum Degree Holder.
