For Procurement, Telenor has the ambition to develop Telenor Procurement Company (TPC) as a professional Procurement as a Service (PaaS) provider to customers within and outside Telenor organizations.   • You will be a part of the Network Team which is one of TPC\xe2\x80\x99s core procurement function.
  • Even though you will be part of the Network team, you are expected to be involved in both Network related strategic procurement initiatives and strategic initiatives in other core procurement areas like ISIT, Markets & Indirect etc. for Procurement as a Service (PaaS) customers outside Telenor organization and within Telenor organization.
  • As part of TPC, lead, support and oversee the execution of strategic procurement initiatives
  • Own building relationship with PasS partners and Telenor stakeholders for the Procurement function and act as the TPC go-to person for key stakeholders in PasS partners for procurement related activity
  • Jointly identify collaboration opportunities, along with other Telenor, Global Procurement and PasS partners functions.
  • Prepare and participate in strategic and operational meetings related to strategic PaaS initiatives working across the Global Telenor, Global Procurement functions, regular engagement with senior management, CXO levels both at Telenor and PaaS customers
  • Following expectations are specifically related to PasS partners:
  • Lead and maintain PasS partners portfolio overview where Procurement is or will be involved
  • Map and maintain comprehensive PasS partners related procurement engagements across the procurement function (Spends and Revenue footprints), closely track, measure and assess Partnership performance & operational readiness, and provide feedback. During this process identify synergy areas between activities and continuously improve efficiency in the engagements.
  • Conduct regular, standing meetings with both internal and external stakeholders at different levels of Seniority
  • Play a crucial role to build company credibility, brand value and trust with customers
  • Provide support and advice on customer relationship management processes, role clarity, goals alignment and collaboration models to ensure successful PasS partners execution
  • Continuously improve existing processes, tools, and data for insights

The ideal candidate should have experience from relevant role and be a professional eager to develop yourself within strategic sourcing. He/she should have an academic understanding of strategic sourcing and category management as well as spend analysis. The following personal characteristics will be critical to succeed in the role:Have strong business knowledge in telecommunications landscape
  • Wide and in-depth knowledge of Network Core function, processes and operations
  • Detailed understanding of Contractual concepts and clauses and be able to correlate the contractual obligations with performance of scope of work
  • Thorough knowledge and experience of Core consisting models, cost drivers, interaction of cost drivers and a logical way of deriving the TCO
  • Has been a thorough sourcing professional with sourcing mindset and still maintaining a focus on operations and stakeholder interests as well
  • Excellent negotiations skills with flexibility in approach while sticking to basic negotiation principles
  • Strong analytical skills and negotiation experience
  • Communicate and interact effectively (verbal, presentation, facilitation & listening modes of communication) across organizational and cultural boundaries, internal and external on executive management level
  • Has handled multi-country, multi-million dollar sourcing projects involving multiple stakeholders with conflicting interests
  • Broad experience with common data processing tools, e.g. Excel or Tableau
  • Result oriented, demonstrating excellent collaboration abilities
  • Able to work with a high degree of execution power and passion
  • High level of integrity and ethics
  • Strong ability to communicate and interact effectively across organizational and cultural boundaries, internal and external
  • Demonstrate commitment, maturity, flexibility and speed in response to business and challenges

Qualification And Experience Requirements
  • Degree from any recognised University or recognised establishment (Business, Finance, Engineering, or accounting will be beneficial)
  • Minimum 8 years in a procurement / contract management / vendor management role.
  • Relevant experience in cloud, applications and telecommunications is advantageous.
