About the Role

This position has overall responsibilities and leadership in Climate Solutions AME Product Management organization of Residential, Light Commercial and VRF product lines including product benchmarks/ differentiation, customer needs, product roadmaps, on-time-delivery, post launch activities, pricing and aftermarket viability.


He/She will also have global responsibilities in leading and building programs and platform synergy with our Product Development, Technology and Engineering Centers and Operations facilities, while seeking collaborative inputs from sales and marketing teams in the zones.

Key Responsibilities:

As Director, Product Management (RLC & VRF Products), Climate Solutions Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (AME), you will be responsible for.

Product Strategy and roadmap

Develop and manage CSAME RLC and VRF and global product strategies aligned with company goals. Understand industry benchmarks, customer needs and methods of differentiation to identify opportunities and gaps, in collaboration with sales and marketing teams. Define global product roadmaps and build business case with support from sales and engineering teams.

Product Development

Collaborate with Global Engineering, Product Management, Marketing and Operations teams to define product requirements and specifications. Lead global and regional product discussions from concept through launch, ensuring alignment with program KPIs incl. quality, cost, and schedule. Act as the voice of the customer during the development process. Support post launch success of the product including obsolescence management, launch marketing, pricing etc. Ensure design for service and aftermarket viability.

Cross-Functional Leadership

Serve as the primary point of contact between sales, marketing, technology & innovation, operations, and program management regarding product-related matters. Work closely with supply chain and operations to ensure product availability, cost and quality.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering. MBA is a plus. Over 15 years of experience in Product Management, ideally in HVAC, building systems or industrial equipment. Good verbal & written English; Strong communication skills with and collaborative mindset. Strong supervisory, people management and leadership skills Strong understanding of the global HVAC market dynamics and trends
