As a Director of Sales and Business Development, Data Marketplace on our Revenue team, you will be responsible for initiating, pitching, and closing new data revenue from brands and agencies, leveraging on your previous and extensive existing relationships as well as developing new meaningful relationships to become a strategic long term data partner to our clients. You will also actively seek new data partnerships and develop strategies to further enhance and grow Fyllo's Data Marketplace and data competitive advantages. You will report directly to our VP Sales, Data and Media, Asia and work closely with our operations team to close, grow, and retain new accounts.
This is a game-changing role to spearhead revenue and client growth and to partner with multiple business units to scale Fyllo's Data Marketplace with progressive and mainstream clients across key verticals like: Crypto, Gaming, Fintech, Retail, Pharmaceutical, Finance, QSR, CPG, Automotive, and more.
Your role will include developing and presenting new data solutions to clients to help penetrate key markets across high-growth progressive verticals. To be successful in this role you must have a clear understanding of the client's long-term business objectives to further grow the client's success and data usage with Fyllo. You must love providing tailored data solutions to meet client needs.
Day to Day

  • Identify, pitch, and close data contracts with agencies and brands
  • Constantly be prospecting and identifying new client opportunities and RFPs
  • Prepare pitch materials and responses to data RFPs
  • Seeking new and unique data partnership
  • Working and partnering with DSPs and SSPs to create and enhance their contextual and audience data products
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success and Operations team to develop new data strategies and segments for clients
  • Build and cultivate a strong pipeline of business opportunities to overachieve revenue growth objectives and milestones
  • Ensure real-time use of SFDC to manage all sales activities and pipelines (active performance management)
  • Work in a fast-paced, team environment with a sense of urgency
  • Be customer obsessed as a strategic partner, closely monitoring and evaluating data usage and results for upselling and renewal opportunities
  • Working with your assigned Account Executive to develop strong client relationships

Preferred Experience
  • 5+ years of sales/business development experience in the digital advertising space
  • 3+ years of sales/business development experience selling programmatic media or data and closing data partnerships
  • Experience prospecting, pitching, and closing deals with large traditional brands and agencies
  • An extensive network of proven relationships across senior stakeholders in the Asian digital advertising ecosystem including Agencies, Brands, Media owners, Data providers, DMPs, DSPs, and SSPs
  • Strong data background including experience in building unique data sets, activating audience data and contextual strategies with client campaigns, and selling data for use in advertising targeting
  • Well-established, strong personal connections and relationships with the C-suite of tier 1 brands and agencies
  • Experience and track record of selling across SEA, India, Hong Kong, and Japan is a bonus
  • Experience building impactful client pitch decks (and the associated research) to close new business
  • Experience growing and managing pipelines with SFDC for efficiency and transparency using a strong follow-up process
  • Managed successful client deployments and ensured ongoing client satisfaction leading to renewals, revenue growth, and the discovery of new addressable opportunities
  • Well-versed in media vocabulary and key performance metrics
  • Highly knowledgeable and self-motivated to learn about products, technology, customers, and competitors
  • Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and effectively prioritize various requests and responsibilities. Being solution focussed
